Fries. Craft cocktails. Lots of other good stuff. But... those fries. I end up at Leon's about once a season, usually, sometimes more. The food is consistently good and the service is also solid. If there's some snafu, management has been generous in taking care of it. The other evening, we stopped by for a few drinks on the way home. They always take care when making cocktails, and it makes a difference. I drink old fashioneds and they're always well blended and balanced. Never thrown together. Had dinner here last night and everything was awesome. It has been a while since I have been at a restaurant where every single thing I had was delicious. Drinks, appetizers, entrée all delicious, flavorful, and fresh. We had the Bacon in A Glass, Peppadews, Hanger Steak, and The Grilled Chicken Skewers....DELICIOUS!!! Came here today for drinks and appetizers before dinner. We parked in a lot that was about a block away from the restaurant which wasn?t a bad walk, but still a walk. My fiancé loved the decor outside and we were instantly seated when we approached the door. We were seated at one table but moved to another by the waitress because it wasn?t the cleanest. Great, warm, hip spot in the middle of downtown Decatur. With a rotating seasonal menu that often incoporates high quality local ingredients and has an eye towards farm-to-table, its hard to go wrong. Inventive and ever-changing yet consistent in it's excellence, Leon's has been around for a good while as part of the larger Brick Store stable of restaurants and does a good job at standing on it's own. Excellent cocktail program and service round out the experience.
The food is good, but service was a tad bit slow. We had the Pappadews for an appetizer (pictured) and they were delicious. We also had the Hanger steak and burger. The steak was good but I ordered medium and it was more medium rare. Overall its a quaint place with a nice vibe and good food. Those small things are why I gave only 4 stars. Definitely try it!
I want to love this place... But the food is just okay. Service is usually pretty good. The location is great, love the outside dining area. But the food is always lacking...
Small portions contrary to the costi n my opinion, although the food was good. Also you don't really know who works there since everyone looks like they just strolled in.

Best chicken sandwich I've tasted! Nice ambiance with well versed serving staff. Only drawback is limited menu. However, it was a really nice experience.
