I am no lover of supermarkets or covered in shopping centres but when you gotta go you gotta go, and Les Folies Douces made it bearable. I tried shutting my eyes and blotting out the huge toy emporium, sports shop, colossal supermarket and dry cleaners with a moving carousel of clothes on coat hangers and imagined I was sitting in the green wicker seat at the wrought iron round table outside in a street café, which worked a bit as this place cold be just that.
