I rarely write bad reviews, but when I do it is because I have been particularly disappointed. I chose this snack bar for lunch based on reviews here. Firstly I'd like to say that the server was friendly, helpful. I didn't catch his name but he did a good job. The menu is basically a choice between breaded chicken and breaded, not battered, fish. Which is fine sometimes places that have a limited menu are best, if what they offer they do brilliantly. We found the fish very dry, lacking in flavour. The chicken burger was similarly dry. We were really looking forward to eating here but were very disappointed . The batter covering the fish was very hard, the fish inside was just a very thin layer of over cooked fish and the chips were cold. The sauce accompanying the meal was however very nice. Staff were not particularly welcoming and didn’t seem to enjoy their work. All in all a pretty poor meal.

We all ordered fish and chips. Delicious freshly cooked white fish in your choice of crumb and home made chips. Our kids all had empty plates after! Tourist location but really nice place for great food. Does exactly what it says on the tin.

Best fish and chips ever. Perfectly cooked, with a choice of breadings, and comes with homemade fries that have nothing to envy to any other. Good selection of wines and beers and good desserts too!

Really nice fish and chips, fabulous prawns, lovely staff, very family friendly. Great spot and very popular even on a horrid wet day!
