This cafe seems to be the only place to stay open in Samoens during the day it's very odd. The salads they do here are very nice because of the amazing 'secret' salad dressing but unfortunately they were not able to just give me a large salad only a little side plate. The baguette type sandwiches they do are nice but I didn't like the Croque-monsieur at all. The only down side I would say is that there were a lot of flies around the counter which were able to land on all the cakes and pastries. If I were them I would get a proper glass/plaster container that is closed on all sides so that flies could not get to the cakes as it was very off putting and that's why I did not order a cake.
with my man, have been here many times at our ski holiday to samoëns, in the regular great service and even better baked etc. recommended, many friends. for baked, coffee and wee, place practically empty, sitting etc., ordered cakes, wee and coffee....what...sells no than you don't eat, we are not a pub that we can't serve them....Told, unless they eat then no. We really look like bigger willed yabs? feel like intruders looking for a pub to drink again, we will never buy here. extremely strange behavior from a once large small midday terrace. Living and learning and continuing, will never recommend to anyone again.
Really small coffee shop which does cookies, cakes and even small lunch plates. Maybe 12 seats in total it is cosy but the ladies who run the place are really friendly and happy to discuss anything on display - there are lots of cakes and cookies to chose from as well as some novelty gifts. We go here about three times a week: really very good. There is a loo as well!!
Great place, and warrants many repeat visits. Particularly good is the Croque Monsieur, the sun dried tomato and goat cheese bruschetta, and the raspberry frangipane tart. Good to sit down, although small, but also offers takeaway and has a little outside counter where they make crepes fresh for you to takeaway.

the shop is especially attractive when they love chocolate and the takeaway sandwiches were made fresh, but the caffeine was very disappointing, bad quality and too expensive. I wouldn't eat there again. better quality and prices can be found in the terrace series via the street.
Really like this little place with very helpful and freindly staff and lovely simple eats. Particularly loved the Italienne tomato and mozzarella open sandwich with a fair bit of garlic!

Good spot for a sandwich at lunchtime, pleasant little outdoor seating area near the main square. Serves hot drinks unlike the bakery opposite.
