Came here yesterday with my husband it was my first time. It was a little confusing because we had two separate waitresses and paid for our drinks and food separately (hence the 2 waitresses) there was a reason for it, part of the members and stuff. Anyways, I ordered the chicken Mozambique. It was good. We had mozzarella sticks as an app, those were fried really nicely... had to stop eating them to hold space for lunch. My husband got some combination seafood plate. I'mallergic to shellfish so I have no feedback bit he seemed to really like it. Shrimp and clams???? No wait. Everyone was friendly and you can definitely sense the tight knit community here.
I have never been disappointed at the liberal club. It is one of the few remaining classic restaurants in Fall River. The fisherman's platter is absolutely delicious, with the option to add lobster. The portions are generous, and unlike some places, they don't overload it with fries. If we wanted fries, we would just go to McDonald's. My wife always orders the clams and scallops plate and loves it. No matter what you choose from the menu, you can't go wrong at this restaurant. I have been going there for years and have never had a bad experience. The staff are friendly, the atmosphere is great, and it's always a good time at the liberal club.

I have visited this restaurant for the second time in a month. The seafood is amazing and both times we were served by Alysha. She is a lovely person and very attentive to our needs. The restaurant is cash only but definitely worth every penny. I would give the food, service, and atmosphere a rating of 5 out of 5.
Was there Saturday and I have to say I was a little disappointed. Ordered the prime rib and it was not good at all. I ordered medium well and it came Raw but I did not want to complain because I heard what they do when you send food back. Clam casinos were good and the Chowder is good. Very crowded
My brother travels here just for the lobster casserole. I've also tried the scallop dish, the Portuguese steak, and the clam boil, and every single time, everything is delicious!
I started with the clam chowder as an appetizer and had 25 fried shrimp for my meal. The food was fantastic, although the service was a bit slow because they were very busy.
