The food we received was cold and did not match the descriptions provided on the menu. For instance, the pastrami hash actually contained bacon, and there was very little of it. To make matters worse, the dishes were accompanied by lackluster, sugary canned fruit.
Our waiter was overly intrusive, frequently interrupting our conversation, which made the experience even less enjoyable. It felt as though the restaurant had completely forgotten the meaning of hospitality. The only reason we remained during our visit was the inclement weather.
I will not return to this establishment. With so many other excellent brunch options available, it's simply not worth the risk of having another bad ex...
Our reservation was for 4 on OpenTable, but they had us down for 2. They were kind enough to provide us a free round of drinks while we waited and were quite apologetic about it. Shrimp appetizer was like rubber; saying it was overcooked would be an understatement. However, even after that, the rest of the food was really good and the atmosphere was great. The noise level was just right conducting a conversation was no problem. Also, the staff was quite friendly.
Lovely place to have refreshing and unique cocktails. Would definitely go back for the cocktails. Our appetizers were ok. The grilled shrimp were tough. My dinner (crab cakes) were so salty, I couldn't eat them. The chef agreed and kindly took it off our bill. Josh our waiter was amazing and so kind. He felt badly about my dinner and gave us a coupon for a complimentary cocktail or appetizer.
A really pleasant surprise. I didn't have high expectations because I thought this was going to be very conventional fare. But Libertine surprised me. Great spot. My wife loved her crab cakes. My son and I say do the artichoke dip the real deal, lots of artichoke. All entrees were solid. Check it out.Food: 5/5

One of the best places I’ve been to in Philly! Starting already with the staff (especially Rochelle), food is a bit pricy but it’s worth every cent! Even the owner is very hands on and cares about every costumer and made sure everything is good. Will definitely return many more times.Food: 5/5
We had a delightful experience with delicious food and drinks. We were pleased to be seated at a quiet corner table, but we want to mention that the noise level could be quite overwhelming if we had been placed in a different area.
The wait staff was lovely and the sangria was refreshing but my âpappardelleâ was in fact over cooked fettuccine with a watery and tasteless bolognese sauce. Disappointing.
Chef Derek Davis is exceptional. His expertise in high-quality food and fine dining far surpasses that of any trendy newcomer. I strongly recommend dining here. Food: 5/5.
