Yesterday I was at the Lido in Weggis for the first time. Since tastes are different, that's good. But this bathroom isn't mine. I know nicer and better things. Unfortunately, the predicted thunderstorm came much earlier than expected. We sought temporary protection there. But what the lady allowed herself to do from the restaurant is now not possible, is below any kind of decency and customer friendliness. A typical Lido restaurant (self-service) with standard dishes and kiosk offerings. Food is always prepared fresh and quickly. They meet the “standards” well. Service/cashier friendly, facilities clean and functional. Shaded terrace, with tables right by the lake and a bar/grill counter.
never been so rude in my life by the blonde waitress. she could hardly speak to us and did not look at us. when I asked for mayonnaise, she threw it at me and didn't look at me anymore. when I asked her a little she walked away and ignored me. the food was also very poor.
Extremely unfriendly staff. Lady with blonde hair very aggressive even towards small children. Would therefore never recommend the restaurant. I don't understand how anyone can behave so rudely in a lido? Maybe a change in personnel is in order ;

Enjoy your meal. Delicious side salad with melons etc. Really good. But the boss is extremely unfriendly and snappy. The other employees are nice.
the salad that came with the stake was amazing : the views to the mountains over the lake are breathtaking. will come back!
A real insider tip in Weggis. Decent portions, deliciously prepared, really great. Lakeside location is great.
