My husband and I were visiting from Georgia. We once lived in Michigan and we often come back to visit our son friends. We were in Royal Oak on Saturday, June 1 and we had a bite to eat at another restaurant. On Sunday we decided to eat at Lily’s. The food was delicious but unfortunately the service was not good. Jennifer, our server took our order, brought our order to us but never checked to see if we were okay, she never came back to see if we needed more water or anything. Stopped here for an early dinner today while visiting the area and loved it. The food was excellent, and the beer (brewed on site) was fresh and tasty. They even brew their own root beer, which was outstanding! The service was friendly and fast, and the atmosphere was comfortable and welcoming.
The food courses were beautifully prepared and absolutely delicious. We tried the clam chowder and the signature sesame tuna, both of which were generous in portion size. Even the bread served with the soup was delightful! The homemade stout beer was fantastic as well!

We had a wonderful dining experience! The service was prompt, the food was delicious, and our server was exceptional. She provided great options for our youngest son, who wanted to explore new dishes, and he absolutely loved it!
