The food at the restaurant was overall enjoyable. The ceviche was decent, with a slightly tangy and spicy flavor. The dark meat chicken was delicious and incredibly tender, and the yucca fries added a unique touch. The beef tenderloin lacked flavor and was served with mushy tomatoes, but the rice and french fries were tasty. The menu was a bit confusing, combining Peruvian dishes with rotisserie chicken and truffle macaroni and cheese. The atmosphere was lively on a Friday night, and downtown Burlingame was charming for a post-dinner stroll. Overall, while the restaurant may not have been authentically Peruvian, it was still a pleasant dining experience.

We had an amazing experience at this restaurant. We were seated quickly and the service was efficient and attentive. The timing of the food was perfect and everything was delicious. We especially loved the chicharrone de pollo, which was the best we've ever had. The mango panna cotta was also a standout dish worth driving two hours for. The staff were fast and purposeful, while still maintaining a polite and enjoyable experience. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant.
Tuesday post Christmas, my friend got there before me around 11:30am and there were a plenty of seats at that time but when we were leaving, it got really busy! All of the foods were sooooooo good, fresh, and hot (temperature) with steam coming out. Enjoyed the Jalea, fried seafood sampler with maiz, Arroz con Mariscos, and the Polli-papas (fries with fried chicken and special sauce with cheese). Gimme more! Will be back to try other goodies :D
We met a friend for a late lunch in Burlingame and received very nice service. We ordered a cocktail, a shot of 1942, fish ceviche, a few empanadas, and the sampler plate. Our waiter was attentive and entertaining. Looking forward to returning soon and experiencing more items on the menu. Our selections were a solid 7 out of 10 considering the price point but certainly worth another try. Book a table now
The Lomo Saltado looked authentic but lacked true flavor, possibly due to skimping on the sauce. At $28, the dish was overpriced and underwhelming compared to versions I've had in Roanoke VA, Bethesda MD, Tampa, as well as Peru and Northern Chile. The Empanadas were tasty but pricey for just two.
The restaurant is known for consistently limiting the amount of sauce provided and charging $2 for an additional 2oz cup. Unfortunately, during this visit, they didn't provide any sauce at all. However, their chicken is the best in town.
Limón was straight-up amazing. This is authentic Peruvian food. Be prepared to pay but definitely worth it for a treat every now and then. The cocktails were awesome and I can’t wait till the next time.
The Lomo Saltado is decent. It is well-packaged for delivery but tends to be quite dry. It could use more sauce, perhaps with the option to pack the rice separately. Book a table now
The food wasn't even good, and the chicken wasn't even worth the price it tasted like a chicken from safe way not pollo a la brasa
Food is good, but the restaurant is cheap with their sauce and portions. Expensive for chicken and quality of food.
