linnea was opened at the end of October 2013, led by the Swedish chef jonas karlsson and his wife. the name linnea originates from the national flower swedens (a kind of honeysuckle), which is suitable for kew because of its horticultural connections. herr karlsson moved in 2000 to Great Britain, cook at coq d’Argent and Orrery, and before opening linnea was chief chef of the fifth floor caffe at harvey nichols. the short menu offered five options at each cursor, with a three-course meal £32.5 per person. the dining room had a wooden floor and banquet with a taupe-colored thema, and the dining room seats 37 diners with capacity. the restaurant was opened at the beginning november 2013, in wh...

Linnea opened in late October 2013, run by Swedish chef Jonas Karlsson and his wife. The name Linnea comes from the national flower of Sweden (a kind of honeysuckle), appropriate for Kew given its horticultural connections. Mr Karlsson moved to the UK in 2000, cooking at Coq d’Argent and Orrery, and prior to opening Linnea was head chef of the Fifth Floor Café at Harvey Nichols. The short menu offered five choices at each course, with a three-course meal being £32.5 per person. The dining room had a wooden floor and banquettes with a taupe colour theme, and the dining room seats 37 diners at capacity. The restaurant opened in early November 2013, in what used to be the home of a Greek...read...

Linnea is a very quaint modern restaurant positioned on Kew Green, close to Kew Bridge. It has an unassuming exterior but the interior is slick, inviting and accented with lovely crystal wall lights. It's easy enough to get to from Kew Bridge Station or Kew Gardens Station and ideal for a place to dine after a day out at the gardens. The menu...read m...

the atmosphere is one of the most important things when it looks. Apart from the food, of course, what goes around you can really change your eating experience. I hear from so many restaurants in london that serve something amazing eating, but whatever reason, fight to the hunters in and when they do, most of them do not return because of the bleak quiet and sterile atmosphere. Eating may once have been just to simply fill them or spend time with friends and love, but now it is considered an experience. now more than ever, the restaurants have to have the whole package to survive and unfortunately, eating can no longer talk everything. in direction linnea by kew green and the...more Book a table now
