A roaring success. Geddit? … but seriously, it was buzzing on Thursday, and no wonder. It’s all round funky and funkilicious. The menu is small but perfectly formed. It’s designed for sharing in the current vogue, which works well for friendly dining with mates. Every dish of the 6 that we tried was delicious I love that they have used Indian flavours as the inspiration to create something new and modern. It works. The space is new and modern too, and also traditional; they’ve done a good job with that retro modern look, it doesn’t look cheesy. Standouts are the irrepressibly happy and energetic service, the wagyu beef skewers, the roti tacos. Negatives? Well to be picky...read more

My mother purchased gift vouchers for us from Lions and Tigers, but unfortunately one of them was lost. They refused to honor the voucher, which was a Christmas gift from my ailing father. It feels like they stole it from us. To make matters worse, they even lied and claimed that my elderly mother had threatened them. This place seems more like a content marketing business than a restaurant. They should be held accountable for their practices. It's the only establishment in Fremantle that doesn't register its badges and the only one that lies and keeps money without providing the service promised. That’s what I call a real audit.
Tucked away in a Freo urban renewal area, lies Lions and Tigers. Offering an electric mix of regional Indian flavour profiles, delicate and yummy. Enjoyed the Pork belly Taco”s, robust and tangy. No Halal here the stain of shame so often seen at most so called Indian restaurants NB BJP. The Goan fish curry was divine, rich and creamy with delicious chunks of Kingfish. Goa is truly a piece of heaven on earth. Downsides: 1. drink prices were absurd $10 for a schooner $5 for a coke ouch. So pre drink before you arrive. 2. Hammer supporters have infiltrated the kitchen. All in all a great restaurant, tight kitchen, nice ambience.
The most disappointing part of the evening was the saag, which was underwhelming and appeared to have been hastily prepared with a hint of green food coloring. Overall, we were let down and won't be returning. On a positive note, a lot of thought was put into the wine menu, offering an eclectic selection that complements the dishes well—definitely not bland at all. I wish I had taken a photo of it, though I try to avoid photographing my food when others are around. Book a table now
Last year I had my best meal of the year very early on in January. This year I think the wait has been till October, and unlikely to be bettered in the next couple of months, with my visit to Lions and Tigers. Simply outstanding food in this newly opened homage to Indian cuisine in Bannister Street, Fremantle. Under the skilled hands of Alia Glorie, the kitchen is turning out some of the best food in the port city, and the wider metro area in general.
a trendy place for modern Indian food. it is good for both groups and romantic eating. reserve a table before they come. service was so great and attentive. Drinks and coffee were good. the food was even better! our favorites were the Naan-Brot (with plucked ghee! and chicken cure. they end the $110 payment for 2 people, which was decent when we have a few drinks. they would come back without doubt.
Came here for dinner with the family and was blown away by the excellent service, food, drink and venue. The modern take on Indian food makes for a nice change. We tried all 4 entrees, mains and 3 deserts, along with some sides, and enjoyed every single one! Would highly recommend trying!!!
eating was nice, but nothing amazing for the price unfortunately. and the portion size is very small. expect it to eat an expensive night for not much! the location is beautiful and the staff was friendly Book a table now
A different take on indian food and the flavours of each dish we ordered were spot on. Very friendly and attentive service. Will definitely be back!
