Our family of 7 (including a dog and a vegan) was on our way back to nyc and wanted a cheap meal near by the ll bean Freeport campus. The food was incredible and extremely quick! There is only outdoor seating available but they were happy to let us use their clean restroom before we returned to the road. Alex was an extremely gracious host and informed us that his family hails from the Guangdong and Sichuan regions- needless the say, the flavor profiles of all the dishes was wonderful. Came by for dinner and LOVED their ease of calling in and pickup. Ordered their pu pu platter for 2: our favorite things was the beef teriyaki, everything else was so-so but fried/cooked well fried rice: had great wok hay flavor and aroma but there wasn't enough veg or egg for me personally, definitely needs an additional entree or veggie to go along with it. We ordered a lot of fried food but didn't feel overly greasy or salty from any one dish. Would try out their other offerings though!
I had vegetable lo mein and it was delicious! They were only open for take out when I visited, so I sat at a picnic table outside. I'll be returning to try some other dishes! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
