Great fish and chips, best I have ever tasted. Setsa very high standard. Really friendly atmosphere. Really fresh fish, always piping hot as it's not left to stand like some places. The chips are perfect. Not a bad word to say about it except that the wine shop next door often causes problems with vans blocking customers view of the street where the little chippy is. Why they do this I don't understand, maybe a little jealousy as there are always people outside the little chippy Sat on the bench eating
I'm not usually a fan of fish, but I have to say this is the best fish and chip shop in the area. The fish is fresh and delicious (not at all fishy, if you know what I mean), and the chips are simply the best. The establishment maintains a high standard of cleanliness, the food isn't greasy at all, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. There’s a wide menu that caters to various dietary needs. The best fish (haddock) chips I've had in the past 50+ years. The battery was crispy, tge fish creamy the chips were spit on. If there's a downside, then it's that there was too much. Well done chef.
