When my company office was in South City, I was on the hunt for banh mi in the area. Little Saigon popped up and I've been coming here where I'm in the area craving Vietnamese. Located right on Linden, it's close to the main drag of Grand, but far enough that it's insanely busy. Past times we've gotten a large order of banh mi (probably 40 sandwiches) and it took them less than 30 minutes all while catering to a lunch crowd. The pho, noticeably fragrant. 20 hours of simmering evident in the deepness of taste, buttery from the marrow drawn from bones. Clean and translucent broth, an indicator of quality. The wait time, a result of perfectly boiled-to-order rice noodles. What’s missing in decor is over-compensated by taste.
