Live Dosa (the restaurant) is definitely worth a visit for authentic Southern Indian food at very reasonable prices. Lovely to find somewhere locally who know how to use real flavours (if you don't like it so spicy all you have to do is ask) The staff are very friendly, knowledgeable and provide a good service. I cook a lot of Indian food at home as I like it authentic so it's nice to find somewhere who can do it well and save me a few hours in the kitchen. I am vegetarian but my husband is not and had the king fish. No complaints all of the dishes were perfectly flavoured. After all, vegetarian and fish is what Kerala does best! Cabbage Thoran is a must try! I have been to this restaurant many times now since moving to Chelmsford and it’s my favourite. The dishes are so flavoursome, with so many vegan, vegetarian and meat options it caters to all and the owners are incredibly friendly! The homemade chutneys are excellent with the dosas. The Cabbage Thoran is my absolute favourite dish! Don’t be put off by the idea of cabbage, it’s seriously amazing!
