Very good for local style food, we are surprised at both the quantity and the quality. It's not a place you go to for atmosphere, it's a place to go to for plate lunch and local style cuisine. I had the katsu chicken curry, it was delicious. My son had a hamburger he said it was done it very well. My daughter had sign in and enjoyed it, but there was enough left over for her to eat it for dinner later.
Our first time eating here and it was mediocre. I've had better Hawaiian food before. The Katsu chicken was a little squishy and not crunchy enough. The California rolls weren't even rolls they look like smushed sandwiches. The chow mein was alright but not getting it again. The only thing that was good was the spam musubi. Too pricey for the quality... All in all not bad but not great either.
Garlic Shrimp plate was great, came with a scoop of Macaroni Salad 1 Scoop and rice. The Gyoza 6 Pcs. Was my favorite and I love that I got 3 sauces with my meals and napkins and utensils. Nothing was forgotten. Everything seemed fresh and was hot when I got it.
This place NEVER misses! Every single time we can expect the great quality, awesome flavors, and large portion sizes. Definitely recommend the Katsu Curry Chicken. The chicken has crunch, the curry sauce brings the flavor. Its my "happy food". Book a table now
Food was delicious. Beef was a bit dry. Odd that none of their house sauces were included. Instead we were given 5 small containers of this... light soy sauce but it doesnt taste like soy sauce. It was not tasty so I had to toss them all out.
I have eaten here often and have never had too many issues. But tonight I ordered their shrimp tempura and was so disappointed in what I received. (4) piece of shrimp for $6.50. It was not crisp and the shrimp looked more like a string bean.
The "rice" was a congealed hunk of paste. Chow mein was wet and flavorless except for a subtle aroma of polystyrene takeout box. Basically everything was water logged. the bbq chicken was the only acceptable item.
BBQ Beef is great! Tempura shrimp is not the best. The batter was thick and not fully cooked, shrimp inside was small- definitely not worth 9.99 for the Assorted Tempura. Love the macaroni salad! Book a table now
