Enjoyed the seating outside in the sun. Free range seating a challenge but it usually works out. Fresh juices were great. We enjoyed the flavours of the califlower soup special and the salad on the beet fritters, although the fritters themselves lacked punch. The winner for me was the tomato, pesto pangritata, with eggs on rustic toast. Yum. Friendly service. - baby and dog friendly (outside). One of the busier places on the foreshore for good reason. Really caters to vegetarian options, not a sausage in sight, although there was a slow cooked lamb option on the lunch menu
Whilst out and about celebrating my son's 15th birthday we dropped into the Local Press Café for a morning tea. The café provides good wholesome organic foods. The café is situated right next to the bay which had a nice feel. On those colder days the café has cushions available and a chest of blankets for your comfort. We enjoyed a good morning tea with a couple of slices, a muffin and an almond croissant. The tea, which they had a good selection, and coffee were good and the slices fresh. We'll go again when in the area.
This is a nice cafe on the foreshore with nice decor and outlook. It was very busy but they were organised and got food out in a reasonable time. It looked full when we got there but they said 10 minutes for a table and it was less than 5. The menu doesn't have a huge amount on it but everything we had was great. Coffee was nice and they easily catered for dairy free and gluten free.
We had lunch here on a Sunday and, even though it was very busy, the drinks and food arrived very quickly and it was great. The menu has lots of great options and it's situated in a very nice spot. It was a little cold but we still sat outside and it was nice with a bit of sun and there were some blankets available if you got cold. I would go here again.

It is a very cool place to go for breakfast. There are tables inside and outside. Food was superb, and the portions very big. Great value for money. Quick service and very friendly staff. Pork&Beans was delicios. ????
Wow! Absolutely beautiful food, we were all impressed with what we got! I will have to come back for the pancakes! Good coffee and a lovely atmosphere on the lake. Highly recommend breakfast here!!
Caught up with friends for lunch. We all enjoyed our delicious, wholesome & healthy lunches. Generous serves in a warm & welcoming atmosphere located on the Kingston Foreshore.
This is a great cafe with lots of healthy choice options to suit all tastes. Interesting food options and great coffee. I can't fault the service either. Well worth a visit!

Nice healthy breakfast , porridge , great bread /toast eggs and smoked trout , tea and coffee and selection of juices/smoothies .
Had a lovely breakfast at this great organic cafe. Highly recommend it. Really enjoyed the winter crumble.
