Es ist ziemlich schade. Der Lohrberg bietet eigentlich eine perfekte Lage für ein Ausflugsrestaurant. Auf der Website präsentiert man sich traditionell hessisch, was die Speisekarte auch genauso widerspiegelt. Doch anstatt einem Römer Pils etwa, bekommt man hier Oberdorfer Helles. Naja, damit könnte man ja noch leben, aber es ist ein Sinnbild für das gesamte Bild des Restaurant. Rundum war das Essen ok. Als Vorspeise eine Handkees Variation ist hier positiv zu bemerken. Das Schnitzel und die Bratkartoffeln schmeckten eher nach Fritteuse, als nach Pfanne. Dafür war die grüne Soße geschmacklich gut. Das größte Manko hier ist allerdings der Service. Reservierung vor Monaten, zwischendurch Fragen ob alles ok. Antwort: Keine bzw. Ignoranz. Am Termin: 30 Minuten draußen in der Kälte und bei Regen gewartet bis der reservierte Tisch endlich frei war. Am Wochenende viel zu wenig Personal. Stammkunden (2Personen) wurden natürlich bevorzugt bedient. Keinesfalls am Wochenende zu empfehlen, wenn man Freunden von auswärts etwas Besonderes bieten will. Abfertigung vom Feinsten! Das Essen kann man dann auch nicht nehr genießen. Erstaunlich, dass es so schnell kommt... Rechnung dann auf dem Zettel... Kopfrechnen kann ich besser. Da die Taxis schon bestellt waren, habe ich den Fehlbetrag übernommen. Nie wieder !

yesterday I was eating with friends in the lohrberg schänke and am absolutely enthusiastic. the food was freshly prepared, immigrant-free prepared, the staff really fresh and friendly, although the load was flourishing at best weather. great view, interior almost like modern ski huts, all very welcoming. unfortunately you can't reserve it outside. still absolutely deserved 5 stars.
Great here. The Lohrberg is beautiful, the Etablissement well maintained, clean and neat. The services very friendly, that eat very well. The beer selection leaves something to be desired for my taste, not so the Binding fan. Worth a visit, but please reserve in advance, is very popular and always full.
Wonderful evening at Bembel Gebabbel experienced, very well ate and drunk a tasty beacon! Great to find such a good spot on such an exposed location! All right.
I ate my first goose bump this year. She was fantastic. The view from Lohrberg is also great. The seat cushions that look like tree slices Sid really funny.
