I booked a table for today at 2:30pm and drove 25 minutes to get there, only to be told upon arrival that the restaurant had closed due to a bit of rain. What is especially disappointing is that nowhere during the booking process, nor in the reservation confirmation, was it mentioned that the restaurant may close in case of rain. Had this been clearly communicated, we would of course have made alternative arrangements. Because our reservation was in the late afternoon and many nearby restaurants were already closed, we were left without any option for lunch today.
