The local grandmas come here for coffee and cake and you can trust their judgment: cake here is great. We tried a cream cake topped with almonds and an apple cake. Both were delicious. The apple cake in particular was a masterpiece in its simplicity....Coffee was not very strong but tasted good. I also had the opportunity to try their super cute petit fours and they were also very tasty and balanced (not too sweet, just perfect).
on the way back to Luxembourg...went to TripAdvisor...checked for the best cappuccino in Saarbrucken...and found it! Easy access from the highway, really good cappuccino and the cakes there are awesome... Jus one if...they don't accept credit cards...it seems that their machine only accepts cards from...Germany...so bring cash. Decor is so really enjoyed it..
Visited several times with work colleagues for breakfast and also for coffee and cakes. The entrance is dominated by a fantastic selection of cakes that all look great. At the back there is seating with very traditional service. We had a breakfast of rolls, eggs...and cheese. Great service. Great food.
