We had the most amazing experience at this restaurant! The employees were so helpful and explained the menu and helped us get the best food for what we wanted. Patrick was our waiter and he was amazing. My friend left his ring at our table and Patrick got on his bike and found us at the bus station to give it back! We will definitely all be going back. Visiting Blockhus in Interlaken for lunch was a pleasant experience. The service was friendly, and although the menu was rather small, it offered regional Swiss dishes. Unfortunately, some dishes were already sold out, but that suggests that everything is freshly prepared which was also noticeable in the taste. A good address for authentic, fresh Swiss cuisine! Ambience is of course great You can sit outside and enjoy the sun for a long time But the food is not recommended Everything takes forever and it's really not a feast for the palate You get the feeling there is no trained chef in the house There are technical errors (e.g. unsheathed onions in the cream sauce) when eating, but there are only simple dishes... Stayed here at the end of April and was a lovely site . Got a warm welcome and our pitch had fantastic views of the snow covered mountains. Toilets/ showers and other facilities were spotless . Everyone was warm and friendly . Great location to in between Lake Thun and Lake Brienz
