Today, while running errands in town, I decided to stop in for a quiet lunch. The atmosphere was just as welcoming as before. The waiter was quite attractive, and I got so caught up in his charm that I forgot his name! Unsure of what to order, he kindly recommended a few dishes, and I ultimately went with the Soft Shell Crab special. It’s always fun to try something new. Thank you once again to the staff at Long Island Cafe for providing another delightful experience! I’m definitely going to be a loyal customer for life! (By the way, his name was Oliver—make sure to ask for him!)
Every bite and every sip is fresh, creative, and absolutely perfect! We love everything, whether it's lunch or dinner. I often find it difficult to order from the regular menu because the featured selections are always so tempting! We've lived in the Charleston area for over 20 years and have dined at many extraordinary restaurants, but this one is definitely one of our top choices!
Everything we had was fresh and delicious: the Caesar salad, lobster bisque, and grouper with crab in a prosecco lemon cream sauce were all outstanding! The coconut cake was as good as any in town. As a non-whisky drinker, I found the winter fizz cocktail to be exceptionally tasty. I can’t wait to return. All the staff were attentive and professional.
The best restaurant on Isle of Palms! They always have fresh seafood, the shrimp and grits are exceptional, and there’s a wonderful selection of beverages and desserts. The atmosphere is lovely, and overall the food is fantastic!
