We are away on our first vacation as a family of three and I was looking for family friendly places. The moment I read the menu I knew we needed to try here. We started out with the BLT deviled eggs, fried calamari, and tuna tartar and everything was better than what we even expected. Each dish was not only delicious but the presentation was stellar. We then shared the crab carbonara and holy cow I couldn’t believe how much real crab meat they stuffed into this pasta dish, so thankful our waitress asked us if we wanted to split it was plenty for two! I was disappointed in the food and the pricing. I got the seared scallops, my husband got the hamburger, as well as my son. The scallops were presented beautifully, but not worth the $32 for only 4. Both my husband son's hamburger looked like it was from a frozen patty. The burger was very plain and my husband complained his tasted freezer burnt. Our server checked on us once, maybe twice, and we were just ready to get out of there with a fussy toddler. In my opinion, it wasn't worth the price tag. You'll get more food with flavor at Acme down the road.
Great dining experience on Steak Night. Straight up dirty martini served nicely chilled. Filet Mignon cooked to perfection. Mashed potatoes paired nicely with peppercorn Demi. Grilled asparagus with bearnaise rounded out the plate. Everything was served at the perfect temperature which sadly is not always the case at other restaurants in the area. Service was exceptional and prompt. If you're hungry for a yummy meal and great service head to The Refuge. Request Sue's station, she's The Best and she makes sure you have a good time!
Always superb food and service. The menu is novel and adaptable to any culinary desires. Highly recommend. We are frequent patrons even with other good options nearby

This place was a last minute discussion on the way to the beach and im so glad we decided to stop the food was amazing big portions.
We had a large group (15) on a Friday morning and had no waiting. Everyone loved their food and our service was quick/polite.
