survive because it has no competition. looney’s serves standard Sysco style pub food. the quality is what they would expect if the mcdonald’s corporation opened a chain of pubs. what makes looney’s is its consistent mediocre, bad service. the first time I came here, no less than three waiters and waiters came by our table and waited for people who had arrived well after ours. we would stop the personal and ask to order only to keep them waiting for other tables. subsequent visits were not as bad as this first experience, but they were close. hostesses acting as if they would please you if they were sitting you, and were rude when my daughter tried...more
Disappointing. The usual outstanding food I’ve come to know and love by Looney’s Pubs was not served at this Looney’s on this fateful day. Coming from the Bel Air Looney’s I expected the same food, but it fell short. The jerk tuna bites were overcooked and not seasoned, the jerk chicken bites weren’t seasoned either, the classic Looney’s fries that are battered/double fried were not served either this fateful day. Instead they were just normal fries. The service was slow, but that happens it was a weekday lunch you could tell they were understaffed.
I went to Looney's Pub for the first time for my high school class meeting. They offered us their own room. The service was very attentive. The buffet included pork slides, chicken strips and a veggie plate. They were all very good. This party was on a Saturday night and we could play live music from the other side of the restaurant. So I would recommend Looneys Pub for a party, but not for a quiet night!

Really big sports bar! Plenty of bar space and tables for a ravens centric bar that plays audio of the game. I got Baltimore's Best Loaded nachos. Well they don't disappoint but I'm not convinced they are the best. Plenty there for a meal or share it. The chicken And waffle looked good and I'm told it was tasty. Plenty of parking with friendly staff. Not a bad sports bar.
I will give Looneys a 4 because it is perfect to watch sports, and it feels like a community. I was here yesterday about the Super Bowl and it wasn't disappointed. We ordered some Queso, wings and drinks for the game. It was a beautiful size crowded for a big event. Our food came out quickly and drinks were good. I'll suggest this place for main days.
It's a fine instance of a chain pub with a Maryland flair. The beer selection was moderate, the prices good, the staff attentive and friendly. The fried pickle spears were ok, the grilled tuna generous and nicely done, the reuban egg roll fine,the wings typical.
This place is awesome. I loved the variety of food. The drinks were real drinks and not watered down. In addition to the many TVs they have to view sports, they even have live band performances.
