This restaurant offers a disappointing take on Mexican cuisine. The chicken enchiladas lacked flavor, dominated only by a bland tomato sauce, and the tortilla was undercooked. The chicken itself was also tasteless. The salsa resembled canned tomatoes, devoid of salt or any seasoning, while the tortilla chips were similarly bland. The ground beef in the tacos tasted completely empty. To make matters worse, I couldn't get a refill on my tea because they only had enough for one cup. Found this place while driving thru St James. I will not lie. We were kind of concerned when we pulled in and was one of the only cars in the parking lot. We were greeted and quickly seated. We have always favored Mexican food but rarely find one that compares to our local favorite. However, when the chips and salsa arrived, we were pleasantly surprised. The chips were warm and fresh, and the salsa was very flavorful with a hint of heat. We each ordered something different. I got the shrimp tacos, which were delicious with lots of fresh lettuce and Pico de gallo. Overall, we were all highly satisfied with our meals. It was a great meal at a great price. We will stop by again.
We ordered togo when there were 2 other tables in the restaurant. The order took about 30 minutes to come out and then one order of steak tacos was incorrect. When we we went back in to ask for the avocado the order was missing they gave us avocado that was visibly fuzzy with mold. The food was something you'd get from a freezer section at a grocery store. If you're looking for a fantastic meal, I highly recommend the Taco Salad, Enchilada, Chips and Salsa, Burrito with Rice and Beans, and the Chicken Fajitas. Each dish was exceptional, and the overall experience was excellent. Don't miss out on this gem!

I visited this restaurant for the first time, and while the exterior may not stand out, the interior is a completely different story. The staff, especially Summer, were very welcoming, and the food was outstanding and served promptly. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. We're planning to return soon!
