Lou's offers the best value on Geary Street in San Francisco. They use generous portions of Boar's Head meats in their delicious grinders, also known as subs. Every visit guarantees a consistent and tasty meal at Lou's! I'm particularly fond of their Ami-Cado sub. There's street parking available right in front or just around the corner. If you call in your order, it will be ready for you when you arrive, usually within 10 to 15 minutes.
The young cashier is rude. She ignored me the last time I was there. Today, I ordered for my poker buddy. She gave him a Dutch roll and tell me they don’t do white bread. She should have told me this while I placed my order. The shop in San Bruno is a lot better, a little pricier, but worth it for the better service. No rude employees at that shop like at this one.
Sandwiches that cost less than $15 in overpriced San Francisco felt like a winning lotto ticket. The sandwiches was quite a pleasant surprise. Sweet tangy spicy secret sauce with roast beef and extra goodies inside the crunchy Dutch crunch.Yummy!The wait time….. that’s another story.I wished them merry Christmas and a happy new year once I got my order.
Asked for a turkey cranberry on sour dough on bread. Hardly ANY cranberry. Worse thing-gave me heal or end, crust of bread. Not easy to chew. No restaurant should serve the dry end of a loaf of bread. I will try in future order a roll. I will also ask them to cover turkey in cranberry, it's a very inexpensive product. Book a table now
The staff member at the counter was incredibly friendly, patient, and helpful. The sandwich I had was fresh, and the menu offered a wide variety of appealing options. I will definitely be returning! My only wish is that there were tables available both outside and inside, but overall it was a great experience.
Fantastic variety of sandwiches! This is mainly a takeout spot, so don’t expect much in terms of ambiance. However, the staff is friendly and attentive, making sure to accommodate your special requests when preparing your sandwiches. We’re big fans!
Horrible customer services, I witnessed the screaming to an elderly woman and to a pregnant one as well for asking to code for the bathroom.
Rude staff. Took 40mins for 2 sandwiches. Trust me the food is not that good for the wait. Try submarine center in west portal Book a table now
