I’ve been a Lovebird customer/proselytizer for 2 years, but the meal I had yesterday was so bad that I cannot see myself ever returning to the Bryn Mawr location.The wait was pretty long, which is understandable at lunchtime. The food was awful this has happened a couple times, and always at this location. The coleslaw was rotten shriveled, brown, with a noticeably off smell. I’m assuming that it was leftover from a previous day. Both orders of popcorn chicken were off. Some of the pieces were hot, some were lukewarm and chewy/spongey as if they’d been kept beneath a heat lamp or reheated. Both orders has a mix of seemingly fresh and reheated chicken. I’m thoroughly confused how this entire place has made from scratch gluten free everything and then they throw it all on a gluten containing bun.Look at the pictures of the menu the labeling is not there , the chicken and crouton say they are GF but other things that are like Mac and cheese isn’t labeled gf (I knew it was but this is what led to extra confusion) Nothing on the menu says “sub gf wrap to make gluten free” absolutely nothing. You’d only see that on ordering through their website.Anyways got three bites into the sandwich before I just couldn’t believe it anymore and realized.Paid over $50 for a meal that made me sick and I got to eat three bites of.Do better.
I am a hug fan of love bird! It's a fantastic place for me to go for a quick fix for that good fried chicken! I do have 2 critiques. The fries are usually over cooked. They are just slightly too dark, so get too crunchy and can have a slight burned taste. And the Brussels are too greasy for me. I love this place and I think it's conceptually fantastic. I would recommend highly. These are my opinions. And if these 2 items were tweaked it would def be 5 stars. The service is always great and friendly and accommodating! Thank you!
I can’t believe I haven’t tried this sooner. Everything in the picture is gluten free!!! Don’t underestimate the size of the portions either, i ended up taking all of them home. They offere gluten containing buns, but other than that everything can be gluten free. Highly recommend stopping by and trying some things! They use happy mixer bakery as their breading for their fried items, so you know it has to be good. wish it was more of a sit down resturant, but they had a bar type seating area which worked perfect for two.

The staff was very friendly and courteous , everything was freshly made . Fried chicken was solid , kinda lacked in flavor it?s depends on how yu like your fried chicken . Coleslaw was a great pallet cleaner to reset from all the other flavors , fried pickles was amazing ! Not a fan of fried pickles but love bird was on point . As for the fries there were regular fries . This is a place I would try again .
First time here and they have the best gluten free mac n cheese ever! The lovebird sandwich was delicious as well. I will definitely be back for that and to try something new.
Very disappointed this time. I made a schedule order, and I went pick up on time, but I got cold chicken,not crispy at all.And it?s super oily. Can?t eat it.
Buffalo Blue Sandwich is an excellent choice and love their Mac and cheese! Honestly cant go wrong with anything on the menu!!
