Waren während eines Wochenendausflugs nach Aalen in der Löwenbräu Schänke und es hat uns einfach begeistert.Zunächst waren wir verwundert dass wir die einzigen Gäste waren, aber das lag wohl an der frühen Uhrzeit (18Uhr). Der Kellner war sehr freundlich und nett, das essen war wirklich hervorragend. Nachdem er unsere leergeputzten Teller abgetragen hatte kam vom Kellner die Frage ob die Portionen zu klein gewesen seien. Waren sie nicht, sie waren sehr groß aber es war so lecker dass man nichts auf dem Teller lassen wollte.
Eine schwäbische Speisekarte, die nicht nur die Klassiker bietet. Mein absolutes Lieblingsgericht ist z. B. der Sauerbraten, der in Bier eingelegt wurde. Das Konzept Brauereigaststätte zieht sich wie ein roter Faden durch die Gerichte. Die Salate sind herrlich frisch und das Dressing unglaublich lecker. Das Servicepersonal ist nett und sehr zuvorkommend und der Wirt einfach urig und schwäbisch und immer gut gelaunt.Ich werde hier sicher Stammgast sein.
Were in the Löwenbräu Schänke during a weekend trip to Aalen and we just loved it. First we were surprised that we were the only guests, but that was probably at the early hours (18:00). The waiter was very friendly and nice, eating was really excellent. After removing our empty-putted plates, the waiter asked if the portions were too small. They weren't, they were very big but it was so delicious that you didn't want to leave anything on the plate.

DIe schwierige Lage abseits der Ausgehmeile von Aalen, der häufige Pächterwechsel, all das macht es diesem Lokal schwer.Wenn dann noch das Engagement unterdurchschnittlich temperiert ist, wird es nicht leichter.Amateure in Service und Küche, das kann man nicht übersehen.
On Wednesday carving day here all carvings are reduced. The food is delicious. Regular menu is a bit expensive. Service was great! Drinks are also good. Cosy outdoor area.
Das Essen war super! Großes Lob an dieser Stelle. Das Bier kam frisch aus einem großen Holzfass. Besonders gut waren auch die "Biercocktails" unbedingt mal versuchen.

The food was great! Great praise at this point. The beer came fresh from a large wooden barrel. The beer cocktails were also very good to try.
