My eldest daughter was obsessed with this place. We discovered it on our first visit 3 years ago and it is just as good now. We have stayed 28 days both times, and each time my eldest has craved the ice cream from Luigi's. Even to the extent that we have waited outside for it to open!!! I'm not especially fond of ice cream, but I have to admit the quality is excellent. My personal favourite is the Dulce de Leche, and the waffles are well worth the money. Freshly cooked there and then! My eldest daughter loved the Amarena flavour. My youngest had Kinder Egg flavour and Fresa. The staff are very friendly and always nice to my children. Found this shop on tripadvisor, and decided to visit after lunch as it was in the same area we visited that day. At the shop there is plently options to choose, but we wantes just gelato. We didnt understand some names, so lady translated it to us and gave a samples to try without even asking. That was very nice, you can try it before buying. Taste of gelato was very good, all of them were delicious. Would realy recommend to visit! Prices are not too high as well :
Puerto de la Cruz has a number of ice cream shops but Luigi's stands head and shoulders above the competition. Situated beside the lovely and lively harbour, it's a great spot to grab a homemade gelato and watch the world go by. You won't be disappointed.
Best GELATO in Tenerife and waffles are amazing too, every time we go to Puerto de la Cruz we have to stop there, shame that with this covid they have changed the opening times and sometimes they open in Monday and sometimes they close without notice
