I had a fantastic time at this restaurant, where I could choose between outdoor or indoor seating with a beautiful view of the water. The seafood was outstanding, and the beer was excellent as well. I left feeling thoroughly satisfied with my visit. The lively atmosphere was enhanced by kids jumping off the wharf and locals launching their boats from the landing. I wouldn’t think twice about coming back. We ordered two seafood duos, two hot dog meals, and two beers for about $60, which I thought was a great deal given the freshness of the seafood and the enjoyable setting. They even had lobsters on display for the kids to see!

My girlfriend and I were fortunate to find Luke's after visiting the Port Clyde Lighthouse and museum. The restaurant has a relaxed and simple atmosphere. We enjoyed our meal outside at a picnic-style bench with a stunning view of the bay, and I can confidently say that these were the best fried clams I've ever had. I had never tried whole bellies before, and they were far better than strips. They were huge (overflowing, in fact), and the fries were hot, well-seasoned, and tasty. I just wish there had been more, as I couldn't get enough. Discovering Luke's was truly a wonderful experience.
My girlfriend and I were fortunate to discover Luke's after our visit to the Port Clyde Lighthouse and museum. The restaurant has a simple and welcoming atmosphere. We chose a picnic-style bench in the back, with a lovely view of the bay, and treated ourselves to the best fried clams I’ve ever tasted. I’m not sure I’ve ever had whole belly clams before, but they were far superior to strips. They were enormous (literally overflowing), and the fries were hot, perfectly seasoned, and delicious. I only wished there were more because I couldn't get enough. Luke's was truly an amazing find.
Every August, we set out on a mission to discover the best lobster roll in Maine, and today we struck gold at Luke's! The service was top-notch, the view from the wharf was breathtaking, and the lobster rolls were exceptional—what more could you want? The steamers were incredible too! We just left, and we're already thinking about our next visit. And I have to add that the margarita was surprisingly fantastic, especially considering it came from a lawyer pretending to be a bartender! Book a table now
Incredible fresh lobsters straight from the boat! This is a relaxed lobster shack where you place your order at the window and find your own seating. Don’t expect much in terms of service, but that fits the casual atmosphere perfectly. Many visitors arrive by water and can conveniently pull their dinghy right up to the dock, where fresh lobsters are delivered daily. The deck offers a wonderful spot for outdoor dining by the water. The lobster dinner was absolutely fantastic!
The food is acceptable, but the prices are ridiculously high. I suggest looking for another place to save your money. On a positive note, they serve a unique type of potato chips that, after you taste one, you probably won’t want more—it's quite impressive! Also, make sure to bring a lawyer along to help navigate their confusing signage about trash disposal.
We stopped by for a bite during a bike ride around the peninsula. Maybe it was the fabulous weather, or maybe it was the super friendly staff, but I think they have one of the best lobster rolls I had in a long time. Recommended!
The ambiance is welcoming and laid-back, and the food is absolutely remarkable. I've been coming to this restaurant for three years, and I've never been disappointed. Book a table now
The jumbo crab roll was presented in a hot dog bun, which felt a bit odd. The menu seems quite limited overall. I don't think I would go out of my way to come back.
The food was incredible, and there are excellent choices for local beers.

"The halibut was fresh, in-season and the light batter was to die for! The restaurant had spectacular views, airy and flooded with sunlight. My sister had the bison burgers and thought they were very tasty...not dry for being so lean."
