I have been going here for years and can assure you will not find another Chinese restaurant that serves better traditional Chinese food around. If you come here looking for the Americanized Chinese food you find in most walk in places, you're likely to be disappointed, and I would not recommend you order any of those dishes off the menu. Rather enjoy an old fashioned Cantonese meal! Definitely the BEST Wonton soup anywhere. I must admit, I do miss the old decor which was also more traditional, as opposed to the more modern style it is now, but if you want a great sit down meal with some of the best Chinese food in the area, this is the place to go.

I had the best dining experience of my life at Lum Yen and highly recommend it to anyone hesitant about visiting. This has been my absolute favorite Chinese Restaurant my whole life! We went there today for the last time as they are shutting it's doors. Three generations of my family have loved the Cantonese Chinese Food and the excellent service!!! Wishing the staff and owners good luck but hoping they come back.
This is my favorite traditional Chinese restaurant in Westchester. Everything is on the spectrum from good to great. Update: Sadly, the owners are closing up shop on January 14. This place will be missed.
I whooped Brandon Lum in swimming, beat him by a full lap, didn't even shave my head. Lum shaved every hair on his body for the race but still lost. Stand for the pledge Lum
First, the location (hotel rooftop)is uncomparable. Second, the kitchen's offering were excellent! Third, Prices were fair. Worth to visit again.
