This restaurant is truly remarkable and truly stands out! Although it's situated in Minnesota, they offer some incredible Mexican dishes. Their tacos de rajas are the best I've ever had! I've tried nearly everything on the menu, and the caldo de res is outstanding—just like how my mom used to make it! If you ever find yourself in James, Minnesota, definitely stop by for a delightful meal. They also serve agua fresca; while I have a favorite in the melon flavor, they have six different varieties available.
We visited this restaurant for lunch a few days ago, and we had a great experience. The food was delicious, and the enchilada sauce had a bit more spice than I anticipated, which I really enjoyed. Our waitress was wonderful; she even gave our toddler an orange and was very accommodating when we kept dropping our silverware. We'll definitely return the next time we're in St. James.
