Food was tasty and filling, but flavour did not pop like you would expect with Cuban Cuisine. The flavour was a dulled down version of Cuban, guessing to appeal to more people. It's not bad, just not what I expected from a Cuban Restaurant. Drinks were a good strength, good taste, and great happy hour prices. Good service from the staff.Restaurant interior and decor was quirky and fun. Not much parking, so be aware that you may have parking availability issues.
Me and my girls came into Tampa on a girls trip! Luv child gave us everything we were looking for! Decor was amazing, very good for pics so dress cute, food was tasty hot JUSTIN our waiter was awesome! He checked on us frequently which I loved! He took his time when getting our orders everyone food was exactly what they ordered delicious! I give this place. 100/10! Thank u Justin for your hospitality patience from the 4 girls in pink :
Came in after finding a high review on Google and was definitely impressed! We got the Latino Nachos and the brussel sprouts gave it a great flavor we've never had before. The Plant based nachos were also very good. Chimmichuri parmesan wings were flavorful and cooked well. We stopped in during a slow time, but they have great specials and Happy Hours and would come back if we're in the area.

The food was ok. The music was loud for my liking. The place looks dingy. Bathrooms appear to be decent overall not in the corners and crevices. The place needs a good detailed cleaning. When I go into a restaurant that appears to need a good clean, I can’t really get comfortable and enjoy my food. I also saw a live bug in the bathroom sink. I probably won’t be back.
Awesome restaurant near downtown. Great Cuban food with a real upscale vibe. They have a lot of vegan and gf options which my wife loves. Their plant based nachos are crazy good. I'd swear it had chorizo in it lol. The Big Papi mojo pork sandwich was sogood.
I LOVE Luv Child! One of my fav restaurants in Tampa! Service is always great and the food is moderately priced and yummy ???? Fun and colorful vibe. Consider calling for reservations vs via online. Online will show they're booked when they're not.
Great choice for my birthday celebration! The hostesses made an extra effort to accommodate my large party. The service was royal , constantly checked on our party. Received a birthday shot. Will be back for a girl luncheon. Place is A1.

Evalis was our server and we had the best time. She was very inattentive. We had a party of 14 for a bachelorette dinner. The vibe is great at Luv Child so glad we got to experience it!
Attended Drag Brunch and it was amazing! The service was fast. Food and drinks very tasty! I highly recommend this event and plan to return again.
