Le Dakar-lyon - Table reservation

We decided to go here on the basis of the reviews and wanting to try something a bit different. We had 2 different types of fritters/beignets one aubergine and one salt cod. We struggled to differentiate them much unfortunately. That said the hot sauce...and side of tomato and onion sauce were both delicious. We then both opted for 2 different fish dishes (bream). They come whole, which isn't a problem normally but they were both covered in the respective sauces and a bit overcooked so more difficult to fillet, particularly as the plate given for the bones was quite small and there wasn't much room to manoeuvre on the plate they were served on. The fish when we got to it was a bit overcooked...

My friend and I were pleasantly surprised when we had lunch here recently. It was my first time trying Senegalese food and while I can 't say if what we had was authentically Senegalese, we enjoyed the rich flavors and spices in the dishes we tried....If you love spiciness, you will love the bowl of chili on the side. It was SO good.

Très bon restaurant. Nourriture excellente. Juste les plats servis trop rapidement entre eux, pas le TPS de digérer un peu
