Wow! The owners/current management team here at the Mackay Resort Motel have a professionalism that is very hard to find these days. The care pride taken in what is on offer here ...will not be found anywhere else! If you are lucky enough to stop in Mackay, this is exactly where you should be planning on staying. The beds are indeed incredibly comfortable In house restaurant with friendly room service delivered very quickly! Clean, quiet, safe and welcoming. Hygienic Guest laundry facilities made this stay even easier! Thank you very much for making the stay here in Mackay home away from home . This customer will be back for sure!
So I have this thing about motels being really groos and don't match photos but this motel was sooo bloody good and it's the best stay I've had ever and I've been in some pretty fancy hotels but they also miss a lot of details usually ..but this Motel was exceptional ...from making a booking via phone then I checked in early ...it's right next to IGA and a gym ..has a pool and really nice food menu for Breakfast and dinner along with a bar and room service ..they also were very accommodating with cleaning my room ...I'm in love with this place I extended for 3 more days xx well done
We are on the way to Cairns. Pulled in last night for a break. Rebooked again this morning for another night due to flooding on highway. Reception and cleaners could not be any more helpful and friendly. Bent over backwards to accommodate us, even though we had to change rooms they got it sorted very quick and it was a quick change over. Rooms very clean and comfortable. Location is perfectly central to everything we need. Will definitely be back and highly recommend anyone to stay here.

Basic but clean and comfortable room. Good option for any road trip stop. On-site restaurant was handy and the service was very good. Shower recess in our room (110) showing signs of age with rust evident where it meets the floor. Couldn 't pick up the FTA TV channels with error message No signal available on every channel.
