I stumbled upon this restaurant at the park's edge, and I’m so pleased my girlfriend and I decided to check it out during our shopping trip. The menu offered a fantastic selection, but I like to gauge every restaurant with a classic: a burger and fries. I can confidently say their burger was outstanding—one of the best Kobe burgers I’ve ever had, and the "crazy hatmaker" burger was equally remarkable. The fries were amazing too; they had a distinct spiral-cut shape that I can’t quite articulate, but they were absolutely delicious. A friend of ours ordered a salad and loved it so much she couldn’t stop raving about it. We also took home some cookies and gluten-free cupcakes, which were incred...

Ok. This place is magical. First. Blood orange mimosa is a must. Then if you like Eggs Benedict then prepare to be ruined for any other place. Get the cheddar biscuit as the base. I had the Queen with bacon and a Irish banger on the side. And top thepotatoes with a topper. It will cost an extra hour on the treadmill but it?s worth it. The Hatters topper is SOOO GOOD!!!! I hadno idea what British gravy was but now I?m a little upset because I won?t be able to find this in Virginia!!!! Well, maybe withsome luck. Cute place! Has a bakery too on top of everything!!! If you come anywhere near close to being in Rochester, you haveto come here!!!! Staff is super friendly and on point. Jenn was wond...
Great food, I was surprised actually! Homemade pastries, soup and dressings. It was a nice brunch menu with GF options (not certified). The owner was very nice and chatted with us. The decor was cold and very mainstream, I was hoping for a cottage chic atmosphere but it was just pink walls and pink tables/chairs. And some background music would be a nice touch. Being a tea house I was hoping for a tea menu with a unique selection. All we were offered was Twinnings, which I drink everyday at home.
I have visited Mad Hatter multiple times, and every visit leaves me feeling satisfied and with a bag of baked goodies for later. Their breakfast sandwiches, pancakes, and frittatas are excellent, and you can’t go wrong with their French toast. Lunch is just as enjoyable; my current favorite from the menu is the Pesto Chicken Sandwich. The bakery at the entrance always lures me in, and during my last visit, I couldn't resist grabbing some pumpkin bars. Book a table now
The food at this restaurant was fantastic. I especially loved their various pastries and the breakfast sandwich. Our group of five ordered, and the food arrived about 20 minutes later, with the pastries coming out just before the main dishes. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely return! One note on parking: it’s located behind the building and might be a bit tricky to locate if it’s your first visit.
Sat outside on the front patio with our dog and enjoyed Sunday brunch which included a mimosa flight, breakfast burrito and eggs Benedict flight. Everything was delicious and the service was friendly... brought our dog some water. Got a couple of scones from their bakery after.
The hot chocolate with homemade marshmallow is SO GOOD and my favourite will always be Hatter?s Benedict. They don?t take reservation so the tables are first come first serve. However, the waiting time is never longer than 30 minutes. Overall it wasa great experience!
Love dining at the Mad Hatter! The food is always delicious and served quickly. I loved how kind all of the servers were too ? I definitely recommend eating outside on the patio if you can grab a table it's shady and dog friendly! Book a table now
I feel the Mad Hatter tea room and cafe is a wonderful find. Everyone should know what a great place that is. When they say that everything's up, I'll tell YUMMY! Super service, makes you feel like family;
