Kei has run this place for 27 years! It's a staple in Erko and the spread we had a demonstration of why! A mixed entree of Spring Rolls, Curry Puffs were great of course, but it was the presentation of the Fish Cakes that was surprising! Topped with peanut and garnishings, it definitely could stand on its own as a sole snack option! Mama's Chicken is a coconutty mild curry which is the safe choice, but the Spicy noodle with Chicken is where you'll find real kick! Beef Pad Thai made a guest appearance as it does in many meals and it was the Soft Shell Crab in a glazed sweet sauce that stole the show! Great personal service in the hear...
It is great to see Maggie's open once again. They are not your usual Thai restaurant with the menu being very small in comparison to other Thai restaurants and just that little bit classier. The restaurant is very child and family friendly with dinner service starting around 5:30 so you can get in and eat early to get the young ones to bed.
We ordered home delivery on this occasion and we very impressed with the quality of food delivered and how quick it was, especially on a Friday.
I would recommend this place to anyone especially after a cheeky drink at the Hive Bar or the Rose.
Small well lit joint, with limited menu list & fair service. We had Pad Thai, it was Yummmm !! We ordered Tom Yum chicken soup which wasn't on the menu but the chef was happy to serve. That's great isn't it :-) BUT while paying we realised TOM YUM chicken soup ( quality 1- usual serve size) was for $15. Woah now that's a lot & it was not the best I have had yet.
I was disappointed. My advice is stick to the menu and make sure you are not over charged for basis item. It is certainly $40 for two.
Very small casual byo restaurant (there's a BWS a few doors down, BYO $4 per bottle) with the loveliest staff! Vegetarian spring rolls get a big thumbs up from me - crispy on the outside, not oily, filling was flavoursome, light and fresh. Their menu is not extensive but they have a really awesome Chef's special menu.
I would love to dine here more often but it is on the pricey side - $18 for a pad see ew, $24 for a main meat dish.
Not good for loud groups, great for low key dates ;)

Best Thai Ever. I been a Maggies Thai regular for many years and no matter how many Thai restaurants I try, I always come back to Maggies. The crab and papaya salad is my all time favourite having the right balance of hot, sour, sweet and saltiness.
BTW Anna, I remember takeout dishes costing $12 but that was many years ago. Wouldn't it be great if the prices stayed the same? More crab and papaya for me please!

Only thing to note is that the zomato page is a little misleading. Staff are delightful and the food excellent. Smaller menu than your normal Thai restaurant that has a million and one things on it but it doesn't matter when the foods delicious and packed with flavour.
