I went to this restaurant for the first time earlier this week. The staff was very friendly upon arrival. The food looks amazing, and there was so many choices. The prices are somewhat high seeing I got a leg quarter that costs 5 bucks for a bag at the store. You get an entree, two sides, choice of bread and a drink. I got the mashed potatoes with fresh, Mac and cheese and sweet potato souffle. I also got deviled eggs, some kind of pie, and key lime cake. The deviled eggs look amazing, but we're dry and bland. The keylime cake was not good at all, I'm not sure what it tasted like, but it missed the mark. The mashed potatoes were bland and not fluffy. The Mac n cheese was bland and greasy. Th...

Half the time the pecan pie is great, the other half time it’s really gross, when it’s gross it doesn’t even look the same, the pecans on top are mushed into the pie instead of kind of loose on top, when it’s good it’s got like sweet sticky syrup on it when it’s gross it doesn’t even taste sweet and the gross slices have the most disgusting texture and after taste. I don’t know if two different people make the pecan pie or what is going wrong half the time but when it’s bad it’s really bad. And it’s really disappointing because I want the good pie but it’s not worth risking getting a trash slice. Which is where this slice is going, the trash

It’s decent, I guess. I ordered the country steak (I think that what it is) and it was good enough. It’s basically a hamburger patty with some grilled onions on it. I got the mashed potatoes, which were a little bland, but okay. Same with the macaroni. Don’t get me wrong, I cleaned my plate, but it was nothing spectacular. I might come back though because their fried chicken did look really good. I probably should’ve gotten that. I may have just ordered the wrong thing. The staff is super friendly and nice though.

Absolutely delicious...get your southern food love affair fulfilled. The service is all love. Believe it or not post covid this is a place still full of employees who love what they do and the joy in their hearts is reflected in how they treat customers...its probably this love that makes the food so tasty. I recommend the smothered pork chop and Mexican cornbread.

It's no joke how much better Magnolia Room is than the other cafeterias in Tucker. For the same price you get the same amount of food that'll taste better than any other cafeterias in the area. Added to that, the dining room is clean, spacious, wellair-conditioned and in a romantic environment -flowers and decorations at the table. 5 Stars and I mean it!

The sweet tea was fantastic, and the sweet potato pie struck a perfect balance, not too sweet. Living on the other side of Atlanta, I wouldn’t go out of my way just for the food. However, if I find myself nearby again, I’d definitely consider stopping in to try more of their tempting dishes. The staff were very friendly, especially Mr. Gary!

This is the 1st time I've been disappointed. I live in Stockbridge, work in Atlanta and the drive is worth it! However today, I not only wasted time, but money. Ordered fish plus 3 sides. Corn was lumpy, mashed potatoes tasted sour and greens was OK. Fish great. But wasnt able to eat others. Really sad ?? Book a table now

GARY IS AMAZING!!!!!!! Definitely go there for him!!!!! I ordered the catfish, sweet potato souffle, and cabbage. Next time, I’ll make sure to get yams. The souffle was decent, the catfish was quite tasty, and the cabbage was excellent. My meal, along with a drink, came to $19.98.
