The pastries and cakes are good, fresh and recommendable but DO NOT spend your money on hot beverages here. I ordered a cappuccino and a café-au-lait and both were served on a small plastic cup (usually used for water) - you pay close to a Starbucks price, get served 1/3 of the amount and have to drink it from a thin plastic cup. When I asked if they didn't have proper mugs to serve a proper sized beverage the answer was: "glass brakes and the size is like that" (for real, they served me a cappuccino the size of a double espresso). Conclusion: yes, grab your croissant/pain au chocolat here but don't waste your money in any hot beverage.
If you want to taste delicious homemade patisseries, take a tasty lunch or bite into a pizza to fall, it is at home hecht that you have to go without hesitation! I'll be there because food is excellent, and the hecht family that holds the house is very warm. Go there once, you're very welcome, go twice, you're already a friend!

Stayed in an aparthotel nearby and nipped out to Maison Hecht for croissants to take back for breakfast. Tasty and fresh and the croissant amandes were just the business. Great choice in the area.
