While we had a reservation, we got to the restaurant to discover there was a private party. There was a not for all others to enter the restaurant thru the pro shop. The pro shop was dark and the door locked. We went back inside to find a staff member to ask about reservations. We looked for 10 minutes and no staff could be found. We went to another restaurant
We ate at Makefield Public House on a Sunday night. As it was cold out and past dark there were no golfers around. It was very quiet, the food was imaginative and good, and our server was friendly, welcoming, appropriately attentive. We are new to the area and it was nice to find this restaurant! We will be returning.
A great new place with great food service. The room could use a little sprucing up for the non golfing crowd. In a great location lacking nearby restaurants the place is a winner! We cannot wait to go back!
