The customer service at this restaurant is truly awful. They mistakenly gave my order to someone else and then treated my husband as if it were his fault! Instead of simply apologizing and asking how we wanted to fix the situation, they questioned him and refused to issue a refund. It wasn't until he expressed his frustration that they finally agreed to cancel the order. To make matters worse, they kept the tip I had left, even after everything! We've dined here several times before and generally enjoyed the food, although it is quite expensive. One would expect a certain level of customer service given the prices. We will definitely not be coming back.
I found this place because I was staying at the Bethesdan Hotel and it's right across the street.I really liked Maki Maki, they were huge and very filling.I ordered the Love at first sight roll and spider rolls. While, simple, they made these rolls really well.I would definitely come back. It looks like it's take out only since all of the chairs are stacked in the tables.Staff was friendly and fast.
I ordered a shrimp tempura roll and the shrimp was not deveined. That means the restaurant did not remove the intestines and the shrimp still had the feces and other grime inside. When I called to tell the restaurant they had no idea they were supposed to devein it at all.
Terrific sushi standby with all the usual menu suspects. Nothing fancy, but what they offer is delicious, fresh and well presented and portioned. I've probably eaten here 10 times, and I've never had a less than pleasant experience.

Really good! I ordered Philly roll and spicy tuna to go! Strong wasabi! Great service! Fantastic reasonable price. 22 for three rolls! I'll see you tonight for dinner too!
Good prices, service was very attentive and friendly. They have plenty of specialty rolls. Beer, Saki and cocktails available. A cozy place to go for some Sushi
