I am a coeliac. Went here because we have lived in Malaysia and love the food plus the comments on Trip Advisor strongly suggesting it as being good for gluten free.We went for dinner. Ordered an entree and main each plus had a drink. Re gluten free: they were certainly promoting gf and readily indicated the range of dishes that were available gf. Left me a little bemused and wary - gf options included some which normally are in Asian restaurants and omitted some which always are. Read the other reviews and maybe they didn't go to the same restaurant..?!Once taken to our table (5 of us) we were given the menu. After awhile we asked for our order to be taken. We were told that it may take 20mins for the food to come out. No worries. 20mins and one dish came for one of our group!! Then 20mins later another..... as we observed the other tables we noticed that the same thing was happening there. It was just insane. It took us ages to get all our meals...... very average meals. No, this is not how to run a restaurant if you want people to come back. .... all those hungry customers, watching the lucky one that got his/her meal first...... wondering where will the next meal...
The food was spot on to be honest - 2 x chicken dishes and both were great. One with excellent curry flavors and the other a well put together hotpot. The dishes were brought to the table 5 mins apart which was a shame - but they were great. Note - this place can get extremely noisy and if you are looking for a quiet romantic meal perhaps this is not the time to go here. We found ourselves close to yelling at each other to be heard.
I love this restaurant brilliant food great service and the prices are great. I always bring our friends here when their visiting and their always amazed at the value. Only let down is it can sometimes get a bit noisy and the decor is very bland.

Had a great night dining at this restaurant, really good food and excellent customer service. Highly recommend the Seafood Laksa and Garlic Prawn Hot Pot. The Hot Pot had lots of huge king prawns in it. Restaurant is BYO.
Ate here once before and decided to grab some salt and pepper calamari and steamed rice. Yummo!! Nice big servings for cheap price. Lunch specials and banquet options too.
We ate a lovely meal in this restaurant. THe service was quick, friendly and a good precyrdor to the meal which came. Definitely a place to return to.
Malaysia house consistently provides great value lunch deals. Possibly my favourite place in Queensland for a lunchtime Laksa.
