My friends and I had had quite the morning, and we were looking unsuccessfully for a place to eat. When we stumbled upon Mali Thai, it was by pure chance. One of the employees was praying, and she noticed us standing in the rain and quickly let us in. She let us that the restaurant was still opening but we could wait in the meantime. The waitress we had was nothing but real. We were contemplating menu options and she gave us an honest opinion on food options, which is refreshing. I ordered the Khao Soy, and it was phenomenal. The Food was decent. I asked for my soup and my main course to be spicy and neither were even close. The Tom Yum was actually nothing but sweet. Zero Heat. Same for the main course. No heat. I would’ve asked the waiter to bring me out something to spice it up, but I never saw him between the time he brought me my food and the check. I sat there for fifteen minutes with an empty water glass. I’m paraphrasing, but he basically said he had too much to do to take care of me. When your server basically tells you that you aren’t important enough to warrant their attention, there’s a problem. Really, I was the only person there and now I know why. Horrible service. Decent food. I will not return.
Used to go to the Thai restaurant before it turned to Mali Thai, so wanted to try the new place. Food: Pad thai and chicken satay were okay, but the panang curry was pretty bad. The curry was very watery. It lacked spice and saltiness, and was overly sweet. To make things worse the curry had broke/separated (see picture). I walked in, rang the bell as the sign said to and the young gentleman turned around and said I’m sitting right here . When I first saw him I assumed he was kitchen staff how was I supposed to know ? . As a server myself it was honestly rude and off putting to the point that I didn’t even dine in . When I go places I want to spend money where people are at least warm and hospitable. I completely understand now why the place was a desert

My wife and I really love this place. It has a calm and peaceful atmosphere, and the staff are friendly, quiet, and soft-spoken. The food is always delivered quickly, and the service is attentive. Everything tastes great and is served piping hot at your table. I believe the prices are reasonable given the portion sizes. If you enjoy Thai cuisine, I highly recommend giving this restaurant a try; I'm sure you won't be disappointed.
Stopped in here yesterday and the food was amazing! We had the curry puff appetizers, which had an incredible crispy puff pastry. The Sukhiyaki, curry, and pad see ew were also delicious. The service was so lovely. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Clean and spacious atmosphere. Fast service. The portions were large and the price was really affordable. The flavor was rich delicious. Also try a Thai Iced tea....so0o good!
