Was shopping today in Balgowlah and was really in the mood for some nice brunch. Wasn't expecting to find anything great inside of a mall, but this place offers a surprisingly great menu! I had bacon eggs benny with perfectly runny yolks and wonderful hollandaise sauce. My husband got the daily special, which was a bacon and egg roll with avocado and fried potato... amazing and huge! We also split the beer-battered chips, which were steaming hot and perfectly crispy. All this came in large portions and was nicely priced at $34 total. We will definitely be back!
I am a regular at Malibu, for coffee, breakfast and lunch. It is now my kids favourite place as we always have good food, good service and good coffee (and smoothies). Leon always greets with a smile and now knows my coffee order. They also...have a reward card, after first and 2nd 9 coffees (hot drinks), you get one free, and after the last 9 drinks you get a free breakfast (up to 12 or taken off bill). Its the perfect place to catch up with friends and a great breakfast, brunch and lunch restaurant.
This is a nice place to stop by when you're out doing your shopping. Located near the green grocer in Stocklands Balgowlah, this is a cheerful cafe. The food is reasonably priced. I particularly enjoyed the bacon and egg roll which was on the specials...board for $12 and came on a big Turkish roll with a hash brown, rocket and avocado. The milkshakes aren't huge. The service for us was a bit slow. Tables around us seemed to get served promptly enough.
eating here is good, no complaining about her, but they can't do soy coffee. when I took the time to explain why I had a problem with her coffee (the soy milk was cured and became thick and granular) they were rude and tried to push it to soy milk. as I woke up this morning and decided to drink for the first time in my life soy and had no warning of soy coffee.

The restaurant is situated in the shopping center, which makes it a convenient spot for us to visit regularly. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the food is consistently excellent, always fresh and served in generous portions. They also serve the best coffee in the city, along with the top-rated BLT sandwich.
The Barrister, Tri, and owners Peggy and Leon treat their customers like family friends. The food is always delicious, and the coffee is excellent. Visitors are sure to have a great experience, as they are welcomed warmly as friends.
Had a great breakfast, I had the Bacon and Eggs (pouched) with a coffee. They have fast and efficient service. Def go back. I had food envy with some of the plates as they went past me, next time.
the staff is super friendly, eating is great and always fresh. the coffee is even better! they go out of the way to make sure their needs are fulfilled.

Best coffee ever, we come here for coffee 3/4 times a week, they also use free range eggs but not bacon so I stay away from bacon otherwise recommended.
We had a pleasant breakfast. The service was efficient. The restaurant was rather noisy as it is open to the mall.
