We had an overall fantastic dining experience at this restaurant. The service was good, the atmosphere was nice, and we enjoyed eating outside on a beautiful evening. It's a great place to go for a special occasion, but the only downside is the price. The menu is a la carte, so it can be fairly expensive. We both ordered the filet with three sides to share, a glass of wine each, and skipped dessert, and our bill came out to nearly $300 for the two of us, including tip. While a nice meal at a nice restaurant is generally not cheap, there are other options in Tampa where you can find similar quality food for a much better price.
Had to wait 30 minutes despite having a reservation. They did provide us with free glasses of Prosecco while waiting. Food was pretty good, but the main dining and bar areas were very noisy. Expect to almost be yelling to have a conversation.
Our server, Courtney, was fantastic! She was attentive without being overbearing, which was just right. The food and drinks exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend Malio’s and Courtney as well!
Great experience and loved my waiter. He was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Would recommend to anyone! It’s expensive, but if you want a quality dining experience, Malio’s delivers!
