pleasantly surprised to find Mama Gaia's .. i'm vegan and my mom is gluten free vegetarian both can be difficult in the smaller towns, then we turned a corner and Voila! there was a sign that said vegan and gluten free . the menu...changes often (written on a chalkboard that is brought to the table to choose from). On the day that we were there, they had one vegan option (and it was a delicious pasta with seitan and veggies). I wish i could remember what my mom order, but she was happy with it (gluten free). The employees were very nice and the girl even offered to help with any translation issues we needed. Lovely outdoor seating in a cute little square.
mama gaia’s is an authentic restaurant, in an architecturally subtle, beautiful old place, more peaceful than the main square. eating is excellent, has many vegan options, many pure organic options including beer and wein. so much love to detail in the food. what is a pleasure in comparison to the côte d’azur tourist tariff. the personal is excellent, warm, professionally attentive. I am traveling in the region for years and live here, mama gaia is a sound. worth 10 stars. (two meals 19eu) delicious food. vence is worth visiting, more authentic and local than most of the sights/villages we are told to visit. Thank you. mama gaia!
I'm sorry, but my experience at the restaurant mama gaja was really a disaster. My peat with ingredients that I barely recognized was without salt and without flavor, accompanied by the same salad I can make myself, the plate was small but not the price of 12 euro. My companion's plate was a revisited Indian dish but with too cooked rice and lots of cumin that I had difficulty tasting. my experience has not been satisfactory especially because to make vegetarian/vegetalian cuisine you really need to know as mixing the ingredients without imitating the eastern cuisine. :-(
we had the opportunity to discover mama gaia excellent service when they visit vence village on the bikes. the usual question I ask when in the resto for the first time what is a teller of the day was greeted with a smile of the owner.We were informed that all the positions are the teller of the day, as the menu is fresh and changes weekly. we had a beautiful, delicious time and were quite surprised how hearty the teller were (we are not vegetarian and in the rule avoid green restaurants, but this was a gratitude).

visited vence on the last Friday of our vacation so a beautiful city and much shadow to walk around. we came across the above restaurant, the personal was very attentive, a touch I think is very nice to fill the water when they are almost finished. I had the sweet starter, my man had the meatcake, delicious. we had the pears- almond tea - again delicious would come back and definitely return
excellent organic and vegan cuisine, full of lightness flavors, a very pleasant moment in a quiet terrace with a soft and attentive service. initiative to encourage and develop because it is not so common to find this type of quality restoration, all for a very reasonable price. Bravo!
