While on business in Coventry, I used TripAdvisor to find a good Indian takeaway restaurant based on reviews. I decided to try this place out. The spicy poppadoms and dips were alright, but they were not served warm. My starter, a chicken pakora, was disappointing as it was very greasy with undercooked batter. The main course, chicken shashlik, was also greasy for a dry dish. I had to remove the greasy pieces and only enjoyed the less greasy ones with garlic rice and bread. I may give this place another try when I'm back in Coventry, but my first experience was not satisfying.
This is our go-to when we want a take away and we’re happy to collect even though we live on the other side of the city. Food is always excellent and the owner/staff are lovely. This review isn’t based on just one visit, it’s based on all visits (there have been lots over the last few years). Never been disappointed with food from there! Wait time can be over an hour if you’re having delivery (especially at the weekend) but to us that just shows that it’s popular. If you’re close, just pick up as you also get a small discount. Highly recommend!
me and my 8 year old popped in here as it is over the road from his cub pack. The lady who was serving was really friendly and offered to make us a dish that was not on the menu. We waited about 10 minutes for our food which was hot and securely packaged. The onion bhajis are big! They are crunchy and not at all greasy. The chicken makhani was tasty and no grease in sight. The naan bread was really lovely. I'd definitely order from here again.
I had an unexpected guest and nothing in the house, so I decided to order a meal on JustEat. The ordering process was easy and the food was set to arrive in just under an hour. To my surprise, the food arrived in less than 30 minutes, which was a very quick delivery time. The only downside was that the Naga curry wasn't as spicy as I have had it before from this restaurant, but it still tasted great. Book a table now
After a long day on the road and no food in the house and I hadn’t had a curry for weeks I visited my favourite Indian takeaway Mamoni. Always a friendly greeting and the food is fabulous, have never had a below standard meal from here. If you want something that is not on the menu they will cook it for you. Have never waited longer than 10 minutes to be served and on my way back home.
I have used mamomi for a while now and always been satisfied.Tonight we had friends over and ordered a few curries.We were all disappointed as there was hardly any chicken in the curry and it was quite watery. I don’t know what’s happened but not the quality we were used to.
Hello, we came to pick up some takeout because we really enjoy your food. However, my only complaint is that your beautiful fish deserve a larger tank. The bigger ones seem to be suffering, and it broke my heart to see. I hope you consider changing their tank soon.

ordered a curry told 1 hour 15 mins left it an hour and a half rang again told 5 mins. 15 mins later still not arrived. we live 5 mins away so don't bother. shame cos used to be good
