But I was completely surprised by the quality of the pasta at Mani. My girl ordered the ravioli first. While...waiting for it, we soon spotted the appetizing pasta in truffle sauce. So we ordered it. The ravioli was nice and fine, but nothing compared to the truffle sauce pasta. The texture of the pasta was el dante and made to perfectly. We visited the Markthalle Neun (market hall) and decided to sample some of the pasta from Mani's. The food hall is laid back 'whole in the wall' type environment, with seating areas spread around the food hall. The menu had about 6 options of fresh handmade pasta. I had the spinach and ricotta ravioli and would rate it 10 out of 10. The food was made fresh in front of you and was delicious. If you are a lover of simple fresh pasta then you must try this place.
The portions are quite big for the price. Sage gnochi were good but the pasta arabiata was really bad (they were too hard not al dente but just not cooked enough and so spicy that there were personnes who helped to eat them). The...stuff was not really kind cause they were too familiar and they were making fun from one of the client standing before us (she didn't speak well english)
Well they were queuing up for this so we thought we would give it a try. Oh dear. The pasta arrabbiata was being flung out. Consequently this sauce was raw and fiery as opposed to rich and with a kick. The pasta itself is dull....hey ho you win some you loose some

Everytime I go to Berlin I always go back here. Me and my friend often talk about taking a trip to Berlin just to eat the pasta. It is out of this world actually. We love Lorenzo.
I'm Italian, once they offered me a dish of pasta with tomato sauce...oh, it was something more than super-tasty. I love their food and the way they work. You must try it!!!
