1) Salmon Nigiri, Aburi, sushi roll, sashimi platter
2) Korean pancake topped with chives
3) Gourmet mixed tempura (tempura prawn, vegetarian spring rolls, crab crouquet, mozarella stick, battered fish, beer battered chips

Due to the good reviews (albeit not so good score) we decided to try Manna out. The menu was covered in soy sauce but we decided to overlook it. We got the aburi, salmon and avocado, fatty salmon and karaage udon. The rice for the sushi was hard and was not made well so it fell apart before it could even reach our mouths. The servings were quite small. The udon was served in a plastic bowl even though we were dining in. The soup tasted like it was full of MSG and the chicken was very soggy and batter was too flour-y. The music in the restaurant was reminiscent of elevator music and was obnoxiously loud for a Monday afternoon.

TL;DR: the long story short with this place is that it does what it turns out, meets the goal, and then goes home. if the aim is a decent enough desire, there is no insult to say here there could not be among the first thoughts going through the heads of people, but around the mater hospital, there is a truppet of different restaurants that will delight those who do not draw attention to an enlightenment. every time I find out that a place I got the delivery, it's my fascination more and more that happened organically in the course of time. another example comes here, by nori sushi himself in a unique time, in which everything seems constant downtime, wwe and his delegator...read more

Stopped in here today for lunch as a had a craving for ramen & i had an appointment at the Mater. The "train" was pretty empty, not a good sign. I ordered my ramen & waited, and waited, and waited. Yeah it took a while & honestly wasn't really worth the wait. The broth was band & the noodles stuck together. Sadly i didn't enjoy it. I tried something off the still depleted train but it wasn't great (okonomiyaki). A lot of the sushi i saw looked poorly made too but maybe it tasted good? It was fairly steady, customer wise but maybe that's just because of its close proximity to the hospital. Next time I'll try somewhere else.

order one of the Bento sets on the Takeaway menu and it tastes amazing! best: I had recommended 10/10 so far. there are 2 tempura garnels, 2 spring rolls, 2 gyoza, 2 salmon nigiri, a few pieces katsu with rice and pickles-All for $15.

Best sushi place in Brisbane. Great vibe, friendly staff and good prices. Sushi is fresh, there's a train or order off the menu. And not only sushi either, other delicious Japanese dishes too.
Under New Management & the Food/Service is great now! Air conditioned comfort. All plates are $3 & they have Bowl + drink deals for under $10.
Would throughly recommend to all!
