The food and atmosphere are excellent. The waitstaff is better than what you typically find these days. They offer a nice selection of wines and some enjoyable cocktails. However, my main concern is the drink prices—$23 for a vodka martini feels outrageous. The establishment doesn’t justify those costs. I ordered an appetizer of baked clams and received just two decent-sized clams for $20. Do they really need to charge $10 per clam?!? It wasn’t good enough to warrant that price. Mannino’s really needs to reassess their pricing; it’s becoming excessive. I understand there’s inflation, but the rates are getting out of hand.
The Veal Carini tasted unseasoned. I had to put a lot of salt on the mushrooms, sundried tomatoes and brown gravy that smothered the veal. The bread was good especially when I dipped it in a freshly-prepared sauce of olive oil, Parmesan cheeseand red pepper. Larry the bartender provided attentive service. He says that it has been several years since Mannino?s chargedHappy Hour prices for alcoholic drinks. Nevertheless, Mannino?s is a good venue for singles looking to mingle at the bar.
It is one of the best Italian restaurants I have been to. Service is superb, and the atmosphere is pleasant. The food is phenomenal. Started with stuffed mushrooms, which were delicious. My entree was branzino and Broccoli Rabe. Besides being oneof the best Branzino dishes I ever had, it was also the biggest portion. I took home the leftovers, which left room for theHazelnut Gelato dessert. I highly recommend Mannino's.
I give a five-star rating to the Smithtown pizza location—everything there just tastes better! The other locations have an oily, yellow alla vodka sauce and their food is just okay. However, at the Smithtown store, the food is outstanding, including the alla vodka sauce. I believe this family member really got it right. Sorry to the other locations; I've tried them all!

Everything here is delicious! Best Thai calamari I?ve ever had and their bolognese sauce is top notch. So good that I can eat the sauce as a stand alone. It rivals my fathers Sunday sauce ???? The waitstaff is also wonderful. I just wish they would leavethe grated cheese on the table lol
